House Rules

My priority is ensuring you have an enjoyable stay, so please be aware that by making a booking, you are agreeing to my house rules. Therefore please take a moment to read through them and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

- This is the owner's own home, so no groups, gatherings, functions, events or parties of any sort are permitted.

- This is a residential area so please be considerate of our neighbours - no noise between 10pm and 7am.

- The lead guest making the booking must be aged 25+ and must be staying at the house for the entire booking.

- If you are booking on behalf of someone else or a third-party, please send me an enquiry first.

- No guests over and above the number listed on your booking and no guests other than those named in the booking.

- The lead guest must be present at the time of check-in. Check-in information will not be handed over to anyone else.

- If you require a guaranteed early check-in and/or late check-out, you will need to book an additional night/s.

- Luggage Storage - Unfortunately there is no secure luggage storage available at the house, so I recommend (Website hidden by Airbnb)

- Parking - Please read the parking section for more information.

- Visitors - The house and amenities are for guest use only. Inviting any visitor or non-paying guest to the house without permission is a breach of the house rules, so please enquire about visitors before booking.

- No smokers or vapers and no smoking or vaping anywhere in or on the property. Possession and/or use of illegal/recreational drugs is not permitted. An additional minimum cleaning fee of $1000 will apply if the home smells of smoke/vaping/drugs or if there is any evidence of smoking/vaping or illegal drug use.

- To protect the timber floors, please do not wear shoes in the house or drag anything, including furniture or bags across the floor.

- Please leave everything as tidy as you found it and report any damage, breakage or issues to me immediately.

- Maximum of 8 guests in existing bedding only.

- Payments – Airbnb looks after all payments, so please contact them directly for any queries regarding payment or fees.

- The house is not serviced or restocked during your stay. I provide a starter pack of basic amenities, however if you need more you will need to purchase these yourself.

The space
This light and spacious home is only 10 minutes' drive to Wellington's entertainment, waterfront and shopping precincts and is the perfect base from which to explore our fabulous city.

There is plenty of space for everyone and two living areas, a large kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms ensure that there will be no morning rush as you all get ready to head out for the day to explore Wellington.

Park your car off street and head up the steps to the oversized front door, which leads you into the bright and welcoming hallway.

To the left of the stairs is the formal living room, featuring a gas fireplace and floor to ceiling doors with the whole of Wellington spread out before you.

To the right is a large open plan dining, kitchen, informal living area leading out to a large flat lawn and terrace. Open up the bi-fold doors and the only decision you will have to make is should you head out for dinner or stay at home and enjoy a meal under the stars.

Down the hallway is the master bedroom with comfortable king size bed and brand new ensuite bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower.

There is also a separate guest toilet upstairs.

Downstairs there are 3 more bedrooms, one with a bunk bed, another with 2 king-single beds and the third with a king size bed.

Also on this level is a large modern bathroom featuring a separate bath and walk in shower and a laundry with a washing machine and dryer.

WiFi is provided of course!

Neighborhood overview
Brooklyn is a hillside city fringe suburb, with easy access to the CBD. It is home to the very popular, art deco Penthouse Cinema as well as several cafes and the Salty Pidgin restaurant.

For fitness enthusiasts, nearby Polhill Reserve features great walkways and mountain bike tracks.

Central Park has a fantastic children's playground (kids will love the flying fox!).

The Renouf Tennis Centre is only a 10 minute walk from the apartment.

Wellington's wild, beautiful south coast is only 10 minutes drive away.
Getting around
Bus number 17 stops right outside the door. Check the Metlink site for timetable and route map.
